Travel Series: Salvation Mountain
On the same day Kathryn and I took a white BMW convertible into the desert, the first goal was Salvation Mountain. This place was just unreal. There's no electricity, running water, sewers or toilets, described as a "miniature de facto enclave of anarchy." Created by Leonard Knight, who passed in 2014, it's maintained by local artists. Highly recommend. Available in two framed sizes of 14" x 18" and 24" x 32".
